There’s a hell of a lot of pressure on Shane Long’s shoulders at the moment following his big money move to Southampton. The Saints picked up a 2-0 win over Millwall in the Capital One Cup tonight and while Long didn’t get on the scoresheet, he pulled off a magical moment of skill during the game… or at least we think he did.
Remember Robbie Keane’s ‘fresh air kick’ assist last week? Well, Long did something similar tonight but we reckon he meant it. The striker flicked the ball with his standing foot and swung his other foot to fool the defenders, Thierry Henry used to be at it the whole time back in the day.
