Phil Jones might have missed the goal last night, but the penalty landed somewhere much, much funnier
Manchester United fans will be in a bad mood this morning after another loss to Sunderland in the Capital One Cup last night on penalties. While Phil Jones wasn’t alone in missing his penalty, he at least made some sort of effort to add some comedy to proceedings as the ball flew off and hit a fan in the stands square in the face.
We can only imagine the look on the poor guy’s face afterwards. The fan’s face probably wasn’t too pretty either.
