Of all the amazing stories to emerge from Roy Keane’s autobiography this week, the one about him not signing Robbie Savage for Sunderland for a particular reason stands head and shoulders above the rest.
Savage might not be everyone’s cup of tea and there’s a decent chance himself and Keane wouldn’t have got on if he had ended up making the move, but fair play to him for being able to take the mick out of himself in this vine for William Hill in a parody of what must be the best football story of the year.
