After suffering a nasty head gash in training, Wayne Rooney was taking no chances today in his return to action against Crystal Palace.
The striker has been missing in action after a nasty head cut suffered at the hands of Phil Jones in training, but now with a black headband at the ready, he has taken his place in the United starting line-up.
There has been quite a lot of commentary over the Rooney’s appearance today, and here is just a flavour.
