We have just stumbled upon what has to be the best chipper in Ireland and we’re more than a little disappointed we didn’t have this in our college days.

A fast-food joint in Dundalk looks to be onto a winner judging by their student menu offering. All the usual options are there, plus you can pick up your beer there as well.
What could be better than washing down some greasy food with a few brewskis? And we really are talking student prices.
Not only that, but the prices are as good as you will find anywhere. We’ll stand corrected in our orthopaedic shoes, but from our extensive research into fast-food offerings and off-licence deals, a burger, chips and five cans of the Kings of the Beers – Dutch Gold obviously – for €10 is as good a price as you will find anywhere and perfect for thrifty scholars.
The students of Dundalk can be thankful for the bargain deal and should be mindful of the fact that they will be the envy of students, and many others, right around the country.
Now if everyone could make their way to the Louth town in an orderly fashion, then everyone will get served faster.
Hat-tip to Cormac McGee on Facebook for bringing this to our attention on Facebook.
