In 20 days time we’ll all get our eyes (we hope) on the new Xbox… whatever it’s going to be called.

While the rumours have been knocking around for a while, the May 21st date for the news about the Xbox has finally been confirmed.
The event will kick off at 6pm and if you want to watch it live, you can catch it on Xbox.com or watch it through Xbox live.
Two questions remain, firstly, what is it going to be called? There are three possibilities on this front: 720, Durango or more recently, Fusion.
The second question, of course, is will we actually see the bloody thing this time after Sony’s event was a presentation of essentially nothing except a controller.
One thing that we’ll see at the presentation will at least be some games, and the lads at CVG.com are saying that EA may be announced as a partner, who will provide the console with exclusive content.
Speaking of games, there’s some talk that they will be doing something special with the new Call of Duty title Ghosts at the launch too, which has us pretty giddy.
Hardware wise, it will no doubt be similar to what the folks at Sony announced for their own next generation console, but there are reports that it will come with a Kinect as standard, meaning you can expect a lot more motion sensitive games.
As we talked about on the Tech podcast last week there are also reports that the new Xbox will need to be online to work, which is pretty restrictive, so we’re not too convinced by this yet.
You can also check out what people are saying about it on Twitter through the #xboxreveal hashtag, and make your mind up on a few of the other rumours floating about.
