The hacking trial continues in the UK, and today it revealed one beautiful nugget of info about the Manchester United striker.
Over in London, the fallout from the phone hacking scandal continues. Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson, former big wigs at the News of the World among other publications of News International, are among those on trial at the Old Bailey accused of conspiring to hack people’s phones from 2000 to 2006.
As part of that trial, a private investigator called Glenn Mulcaire has been giving evidence. Mulcaire pleaded guilty to phone hacking charges earlier this year and in his evidence today, he revealed one interesting item about a celebrity that the newspaper was interested in, Wayne Rooney.
