We hope this person had a newspaper or a decent charge on their battery…
JOE has spent many an hour down in Waterford because the Déise has some absolutely beautiful beaches, river valleys, lakes and mountains.
It also helps that there is usually a decent match of hurling to be seen or craic to be had around the streets of Dungarvan, Ardmore or Tramore.
It seems that this poor unfortunate soul didn’t have the best of nights in the city though after being trapped in a public toilet in Waterford city centre and ultimately having to be freed by firefighters with a ladder.
Emergency services were called to the toilet on the Quay and managed to free the person who was the victim of a malfunctioning automatic locking system.
Thankfully there were no injuries and we hope that this person isn’t feeling too bogged down about the situation.
