When the weather is this hot, there’s only one cure for it: singing Christmas carols of course
We’ll agree that there’s nothing like a good sing song on a night out, but the choice of song on the Grand Parade in Cork last night wasn’t exactly the most appropriate for the season that’s in it, as the crowd belted out a rendition of ‘Fairytale of New York’.
Judging by a few of the singing voices we can hear on the recording, we reckon there were a few snifters of port had by one or two of them. Still, we’re going to be singing this all day now, which won’t get annoying at all. “The boys of the NYPD choir, were singing Galway Bay…”
