Ever wondered what Woody Allen’s pimp name would be if he had one?
Well wonder no more and say hello to Dan Bungle, New Yorks’ latest pimp grand-daddy.
Woody Allen and Coen brothers favourite, John Turturro, team up in the latter’s latest directorial effort which sees Allen play pimp to Fioravante, Turturro’s titular fading gigalo. In an attempt to make the cash-strapped New Yorkers some much-needed funds, the two men turn to the oldest profession in the world, prostitution.
The local call-centre wasn’t taking on any more staff you see.
The excellent cast also includes three of the most beautiful, older women you’re ever likely to see on the big screen as Sharon Stone, Sofia Vergara and Vanessa Paradis play lovelorn, lonely ladies who all partake in a bit of Fioravante fun.
As Monty Python would say, “you wucky, wucky bastard.”
The clip, released in association with the Toronto International Film Festival, is funny, charming and, of course, features Louis Prima’s classic, ‘I’m Just A Gigalo.’
