Nobody needs to tell anyone who’s participated in any form of outdoor sport in Ireland about what it’s like to play in abysmal conditions, when it would nearly take the onset of a tornado in order to convince a ref that it’s probably best to call proceedings to a halt.
Portsmouth and Wycombe were spared the need to continue their League Two meeting this evening when Fratton Park became engulfed in conditions that appeared positively monsoon-like according to these pictures that appeared on Twitter this evening.
