At just 40 years of age, Paul Walker passed away earlier this morning in a car accident, which has shocked all those whose lives he touched
In the early hours of this morning on this side of the Atlantic, the news broke that Paul Walker, famed for his roles in The Fast and Furious franchise, passed away suddenly in a car accident. He was the passenger in a one car crash, in which the driver of the car was also killed on the way back from a charity event for Reach Out Worldwide. Both families and sets of friends will be mourning the loss today, and many of those who starred alongside the actor in a number of different movies have been reacting as they heard the news, including Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who starred with him in the last few movies in the Fast and Furious franchise.

Vin Diesel posted this picture of him and his co-star together on Instagram, also clearly in shock about the news, saying “Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace.”
Olivia Wilde, who starred with Walker in The Death and Life of Bobby Z also took to Twitter to send her condolences.

Tyrese Gibson, who starred with Walker in several of The Fast and Furious movies was quite clearly devastated by the news, and found difficulty in expressing his shock and disbelief on his Facebook page.
Ludacris was similarly distraught, and posted this image of the Fast cast together, saying “Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark, we were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P.”
James Franco and Fast and Furious director James Wan were amongst the others who left tributes to the actor.

Walker’s next movie, Hours is due for release later this month in America, while he also had a part in a film called Brick Mansions which was scheduled for release in 2014.
