If you’re not yet pumped for the start of the Six Nations this weekend, this should do the job.
With Ireland and Scotland in action on Sunday afternoon and the rest of the four competing nations starting their Six Nations campaigns tomorrow, rugby fans are in for a feast of egg-chasing action and there’s a good chance some of them (some of you) mightn’t actually leave the couch this weekend.
With Ronan O’Gara (who we caught up with earlier this week) on board for the Six Nations, watching the action on RTE should be even more interesting than usual and, as usual, the RTE Sport team excelled themselves with a typically brilliant promotional clip to whet the appetite of viewers ahead of kick-off.
ROG is joined by regulars McGurk, Hook and Pope as well as Conor O’Shea, Shane Horgan and Donal Lenihan for the clip, which puts the analysts in the shoes of ordinary fans doing ordinary jobs – could you realistically imagine George Hook serving you breakfast? – and looking forward to what’s in store as much as the rest of us over the next two months or so.
