The draw for the pool stages of the new-look European Rugby competition has been made…
Anthony Foley, Matt O’Connor and Mark Anscombe all face difficult tasks to get out of their respectively European Champions Cup Pools next season, the draw was made in Switzerland
Last year’s beaten semi finalist Munster are in Pool 1 along with Saracens, Clermont Auvergne and Sale Sharks.
Leinster are joined in Pool 2 by Top 14 side Castre and Premiership pair Harlequins and London Wasps.
Ulster have been drawn in Pool 3 with defending champions Toulon, English side Leicester Tiger and Welsh side Scarlets.
Connacht have been drawn in Pool 2 of the European Rugby Challenge Cup and will play English Premiership side Exeter Chiefs, French Top 14 duo Bayonne and La Rochelle.
