Disney have announced on Twitter the brilliant news that the Muppets cast are coming to our very own Dublin to shoot their new movie. Later this year, Kermit, Miss Piggy and their fellow puppet friends will come to our green island to star in the new feature.
Also involved are comedian Ricky Gervais, 30 Rock’s Tina Fey and Ty Burrell from Modern Family. The last Muppet movie saw Jason Segel and Amy Adams reunite the cast to create a fundraising performance so that they could rebuild their old theatre.
In the new movie, the fuzzy gang will get mixed up with a criminal mastermind called Constantine, who unluckily is the spitting image of Kermit the Frog. We can imagine that this is where the trouble comes in.
The new movie, called Muppets…Again, is due for release in March 2014. We think we’ll start following Kermit on Twitter and see if he’ll leak where the set locations are…
