Liverpool scraped into the next round of the Capital One Cup last night after a dramatic penalty shootout win over Championship side Middlesborough at Anfield.
The Reds went one-nil up through youngster Jordan Rossiter, Adam Reach equalised midway through the second half and it stayed that way for the rest of normal time.
Suso thought he’d won the game for Liverpool after scoring deep into extra time but Patrick Bamford’s penalty in the 123rd minute meant it went to a shootout and what a shootout is was.
