Everybody’s a critic these days…
As part of RTÉ’s Reflecting The Rising event, Joe Duffy has put together a different take on his usual Liveline show where people call in about their various problems.
The twist is that this particularly instalment of Liveline is set in 1916.
A novel idea for sure, but as is the case with all novel ideas, you never really know how they’ll be received by the public.
A lot of Twitter users are voicing their distaste for the show:
Joe Duffy now taking the piss out of #1916 #NotFunny Joe #liveline

Can't make up my mind about this 1916 #liveline. Some of it is lovely and some more like a "Funny Monday" Typical Duffy.
