This story just keeps on going…
Donald Trump has dismissed claims that Russian agents gathered compromising and embarrassing information on him as “utter nonsense”.
His defensive statements come in the wake of a document released by Buzzfeed News which alleges deep ties between the President-elect and Russia.
Earlier today, Trump released a series of tweets where he called the allegations a “political witch hunt” before linking to the Polizette website, which is run by conservative broadcaster Laura Ingraham, and carries a story dismissing the claims as unverified.
However, that was not Trump’s only reaction to the news as the President-elect let loose a series of explosive tweets this afternoon.
Russia just said the unverified report paid for by political opponents is "A COMPLETE AND TOTAL FABRICATION, UTTER NONSENSE." Very unfair!

I win an election easily, a great "movement" is verified, and crooked opponents try to belittle our victory with FAKE NEWS. A sorry state!

Intelligence agencies should never have allowed this fake news to "leak" into the public. One last shot at me.Are we living in Nazi Germany?

Earlier today, Dmitry Peskov, President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman, labelled the allegations of Russia’s deep relationship with Trump as “pulp fiction” and said they were a “clear attempt to damage relations”.
