The new Sinn Fein leader was more than ready for the interview.
Just a few days since being officially named Gerry Adams successor as the leader of Sinn Fein, Mary Lou McDonald took a seat on The Late Late Show’s couch to chat with Ryan Tubridy about the future of the party, and her hopes for the future of the nation.
Tubridy himself has come under fire on social media for what appeared to be a comparison between Gerry Adams and Alex Ferguson, asking ‘How man managers have they had since then?’, implying that McDonald’s leadership won’t last all that long, which was something that McDonald herself called him out on immediately.
