The incident occurred between 5.30pm and 6.15pm on Friday.
Gardaí at Rosslare are investigating an alleged fatal assault at Rosslare Europort on Friday and are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed an incident involving two articulated trucks.
A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene and another man in his 50s was arrested a short time later following an alleged assault that occurred at a location known as Tagoat on Friday evening.
The man who was arrested is currently detained at Wexford Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The scene of the incident at Rosslare Europort remains sealed off and a post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted on the deceased on Saturday afternoon.
