No one appears to have been injured in the incident.

A three-car crash has been witnessed outside the hearing of British TV presenter Ant McPartlin’s drink-drive court hearing on Monday afternoon.

Ant McPartlin was fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months after pleading ‘guilty’ to a single charge of driving while over the limit.

As a BBC journalist waited outside for the TV star to give a statement, the three cars consecutively rear-ended one another.

Reporter Alison Freeman can be seen halting her report after she hears a series of noises behind her, before apologising to viewers.

“Excuse me sorry, just some cars have had a bit of a crash behind us there,” Freeman said.

“I mean such is the media crowd it has been very busy here today.”

A van and 4X4 vehicle appear to have been left undamaged following the incident outside Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court, but the third car was left with a dented bumper and bonnet.

No one appeared to be injured as a result of the accident.

McPartlin was also involved in a three-car collision which occurred in London on 18 March.

The charge states McPartlin had 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath.

The television presenter released a statement late Monday afternoon expressing his regret at what had happened.

Following his arrest, Ant cancelled all work commitments for the ‘foreseeable’ future, including Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent.
