Chupa Chup pills

Plenty of Irish people have flown over to take part in the Brighton Pride celebrations.

Party-goers and revellers attending Brighton Pride parade this weekend have been warned of the presence of dangerous pills at the gathering. Sussex Police have issued a graphic that shows pills being sold as ecstasy that actually contain other, more dangerous substances.

The dangerous batch of pills are identifiable by the “Chupa Chups” font etched into their front. They are being sold in an array of colours.

Police have pointed out that the pills contain several unexpected substances — including ketamine, MD, and para-Methoxyamphetamine (PMA).

PMA, while similar to ecstasy, is significantly more poisonous than MDMA and can kill in lower doses.
