Poor wee Daniel…
Saturday night saw the Festival of Families take place in Croke Park with performances from the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Daniel O’Donnell, Nathan Carter and a whole lot more throughout the evening.
Pope Francis was also in attendance at the event and even paused to take a selfie with some of the public…

One performance which really caught the eye was Bocelli’s rendition of ‘Ave Maria’ along with Celine Byrne which had the crowd on the edge of their seats.

But while Daniel O’Donnell might be well known in Ireland, it seems that his fame on our shores hasn’t quite made it across the water to England… or more specifically, the Sky News studio.

It turns out, Sky News had a bit of a mare with their graphics yesterday.
But it won’t have upset Daniel too much as he took to the stage in Phoenix Park today to perform for those waiting around for the Papal Mass at 3pm on Sunday.
In fact, you can see it hasn’t upset him one little bit in the picture below…
