Pure magic.

Meet Molly McNally.

Molly is a 10-year-old Dublin superfan that’s counting the days until this Sunday’s All-Ireland football final, but before then she got a chance to spend time with one of her heroes.

Molly has battled illness from a young age, having been diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer in October 2013.

She was subsequently treated in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin for a period of 27 months. During this time, going to watch Dublin matches provided a great outlet for release.

As of today, she has been in remission for three years.

During the height of her illness, she met Bernard Brogan after the 2014 Leinster Football Final and he’s been her favourite player ever since.

Proof of their special bond comes in the form of the below video where Bernard pays a surprise visit to Molly’s house before treating her to a very special day.

In the company of her hero, Molly helps lead a kickabout at her local club as she shows her terrific spirit.

“The last time I met Molly she was quite sick and so her energy was low. It was great to be able to come back and celebrate her birthday and see her doing so well.

“We’re pals for life and I know she’ll be our biggest supporter when we go out and play against Tyrone this weekend,” said Brogan.

Great to see.
