One step closer to the weekend.
It still feels a little bit like January, doesn’t it?
Maybe we need to revise this whole ‘month’ system.
For now, we’ll stick with an old reliable – a list of decent films that will appear on your television screening this evening, Thursday 7 February.

Steve McQueen’s brutal account of slavery features an all-star cast – Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Benedict Cumberbatch, Lupita Nyong’o, Paul Dano, Paul Giamatti, Sarah Paulson and Brad Pitt.
Sisters – Film4 – 9pm
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are the life of the party. John Cena steals the show.
Jumper – SyFy – 9pm

Charles Bronson wishes he was dead. Again.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows – TCM – 11pm
