James Bond delayed

Daniel Craig has…

NO TIME TO DIE.

Yep, that’s the title for the 25th James Bond adventure, which has been some time coming.

For a while, ‘Shatterhand’ was the rumoured title, which, at the very least, would have made for a fun run of alliteration following Skyfall and Spectre.

Alas, it wasn’t to be. Officially announced via the James Bond Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon, No Time To Die will soon be adorning posters of Daniel Craig looking very suave indeed.

The film arrives on 3 April, 2020.

Plot details are strictly under lock and key at the moment, but we do know that the Academy Award-winning Rami Malek has signed on, likely in the villain role.

The cast also includes the returning Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear and Jeffrey Wright, last seen as Felix Leiter in 2008’s Quantum of Solace.

Throw in Blade Runner 2049 star Ana de Armas and rumours of Christoph Waltz’s Blofeld making another appearance and you have a stacked line-up.

Cary Joi Fukunaga, who helmed season one of True Detective and worked for several years on the IT reboot until he eventually left the project, will direct, having taken over from Danny Boyle.
