Gardaí seize over €40,000 worth of cocaine in Dublin home

One man has been arrested in connection with the discovery.

On Friday, Gardaí searched a house is Rush in County Dublin, and discovered cocaine with an estimated street value of €42,000 (analysis pending).

These drugs were seized along with €2,000 of cannabis, other drug paraphernalia and a sum of cash.

The search of the home was part of an ongoing operation that is targeting the sale of supply of drugs in north county Dublin, with this particular operation led by Gardaí from the Balbriggan District Tasking Unit.

A man in his 20s was arrested in connection to this seizure, and he is currently being detained at Balbriggan Garda Station.

Investigations into the discovery are ongoing.
