The full series will be available to stream very soon.

Between Blue Planet (I & II) and Planet Earth (I & II) and Virunga and Frozen Planet and The Ivory Game and Life Below Zero and loads more besides, it is fair to say that if you are a fan of nature documentaries, then Netflix absolutely catered to that need in 2019.

2020 looks to be following suit, and that includes this incredibly original looking documentary series, Night On Earth.

Netflix have described it as follows:

“The series allows viewers to witness the behaviour of nature at night. Set across six episodes, Night on Earth will explore the nocturnal world, offering an insight into a rarely seen or understood, yet highly active wildlife environment.

“Ground-breaking technology will reveal new behaviours and provide a unique insight into the great wonders of the world at night.

“Five of the six episodes explores a different habitat to show how the demands of surviving the darkest hours shape all life in unexpected ways. Episode six reveals how wildlife around the world reacts as night progresses from sunset to sunrise.”

All six parts of Night On Earth will be available to watch on Netflix from Wednesday 29 January.
