Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything is coming to RTÉ on Saturday nights.

Angela Scanlon will host a brand new series that will air every Saturday night on RTÉ One at 9.40pm.

Scanlon currently hosts Your Home Made Perfect on BBC Two, and she has previously hosted The One Show on BBC One.

The Meath-born woman also presented Robot Wars alongside Dara Ó’Briain.

Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything will air for eight weeks, RTÉ has said.

The one-hour show will feature surprises and unexpected revelations for a number of guests, as they all agree to be asked “absolutely anything”. Sounds fun.

Speaking about the new series, Scanlon said: “I cannot wait to get home and get stuck in. It’s always been a dream of mine to have a show where I can let loose and Saturday night feels like the perfect time to do it.

“I can’t promise Oprah but I’m trying to have a house kitten on set (ginger obviously), I’ll keep you posted on that.”

John McHugh, Group Head of RTÉ Entertainment and Music said: “Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything will be a spontaneous and unpredictable programme where everything is on the table and nothing is off limits – Angela is perfect for it.”
