Apple unveils full iPhone 13 range details, release date and prices

Apple has unveiled the details of their new iPhone 13 range including the release date and prices as Apple boss Tim Cook said the product will be the “best iPhones we have ever created”.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Apple announced a series of changes to the phone including improved battery life by 1.5 hours on each device, better camera quality and a “cinematic” function to allow high-quality video recording.

The four new devices on offer will be the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max will also offer a one terabyte storage option for the first time. The camera notch on the phones will also be reduced in size.

The iPhone 13 Pro will be priced at €1,759 or €1,859 for the Pro Max option, the iPhone 13 Mini starts at €829, with the iPhone 13 costing €929.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will be available in pink, blue, midnight, starlight, and red in a new entry-level capacity of 128GB for double the storage – as well as 256GB and 512GB capacities.

Customers in Australia, Canada, China, Germany, India, Japan, the UK, the US, and more than 30 other countries and regions – likely including Ireland – will be able to pre-order iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini beginning at 5 am PDT on Friday, 17 September with full availability beginning on 24 September.

During the online virtual event on Tuesday, an updated version of the iPad and a new iPad mini were also announced with increased storage for both as well as the Apple Watch Series seven with a larger and more durable screen.
