Very sad news.

Bob Saget, the actor and comedian most famous for his role in the much-loved 80s sitcom Full House, has died at the age of 65.

In a statement shared on Twitter, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said that detectives had found no signs of foul play or drug use during initial enquiries.

They said he had been found unresponsive in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida on Sunday.

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” his family said in a statement.

“He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”

Saget had just begun his new 2022 stand up tour and had performed in Jacksonville, tweeting his love about being back performing.

Saget got his big break as Danny Tanner on Full House which ran from 1987 to 1995, and later reprised the role for a Netflix reboot, Fuller House, which ran for four years until 2020.
