Tragic news.
A 17-year-old girl has died following a road traffic collision in Donegal on Monday (9 May).
The collision occurred last Sunday (1 May) at approximately 9.15pm at Meenformal, Glen, in Carraig Airt.
A male and female, both aged 17, were injured in the collision.
The girl was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with serious injuries and then transferred to Beaumont Hospital.
She has since passed away.
Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who were travelling in the area at this time and who has camera (including dash cam) footage, is asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
