The poll says Sinn Féin is the most popular party and Mary Lou McDonald is the most popular party leader.
A new opinion poll has said that support for Sinn Féin has risen by one point to 37%, putting the party 14 points ahead of Fine Gael and 15 ahead of Fianna Fáil.
According to The Sunday Times/Behaviour & Attitudes (B&A) poll for June, Fine Gael saw a rise by three points to 23% though Fianna Fáil fell by two to 22%.
Meanwhile, support for Labour remained unchanged at 5% and the Green Party saw a rise of two points to reach 4%.
In terms of the leader popularity tables, satisfaction with Mary Lou McDonald leadership of Sinn Féin remained unchanged at 52%.
However, she still overtook Taoiseach and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin in terms of popularity, as the latter fell by three points to 50%.
This is as Greens leader Eamon Ryan received a three-point bump in support to 31% while Labour’s Ivana Bacik saw a three-point drop to 45%.
Support for Tánaiste and Fine Gael leader Leo Varadkar was unchanged at 44%.
The Sunday Times said that, with a support level of 37%, Sinn Féin had matched its best result in the poll in the lifetime of the current Government.
