Eddie Murphy’s classic comedy about an African prince trying to find his ideal wife in New York.
THE CONJURING: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT
One of the biggest horror hits of recent years, this is the third entry in the much-loved spooky house horror franchise.
DEAD MAN DOWN
Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace star in the crime thriller about two strangers who decide to work together to take down a common enemy.
THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN
One of the best teen comedies of recent years, with a great cast including Hailee Steinfeld, Woody Harrelson and Kyra Sedgwick.
FAILURE TO LAUNCH
The first of two Matthew McConaughey rom-coms added to Prime Video this week. He co-stars with Sarah Jessica Parker, who is hired by his parents to help him move on with his life.
GODZILLA
The 2014 remake with Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen star in this really actually very good monster about a big lizard knocking down cities.

KONG: SKULL ISLAND
A very fun movie about a giant ape, with a fantastic cast including Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman.
LOOPER
One of the best sci-fi movies of the last few years, with Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as older and younger versions of the same assassin.
MISS CONGENIALITY / MISS CONGENIALITY 2
Sandra Bullock cop-under-cover-as-a-pageant-queen comedies. The first one is good. The second one is not.
MISS SLOANE
Jessica Chastain is brilliant in this dramatic thriller about a lobbyist pushing for gun control legislation, only for her opponents to start diving into her private life.
NOW YOU SEE ME / NOW YOU SEE ME 2
An all-star cast feature in these magicians-as-heist thrillers. The first one is okay. The second one is not.
POMPEII
Game Of Thrones star Kit Harrington headlines this disaster movie set around the historical eruption of Mount Vesuvius. 27% on Rotten Tomatoes is a fair assessment.
PRISONERS
One of the best thrillers of the 21st century. Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, Maria Bello and Viola Davis star in a dark story of missing children and the parents that will do anything to get them back.

The cult classic rom-com about a very attractive woman (Rachel Leigh Cook) who doesn’t know she’s attractive until the hot dude (Freddie Prinze Jr.) helps her take her glasses off.
SOMEBODY I USED TO KNOW
A brand new rom-com exclusive to Prime Video, about a woman (Alison Brie) who returns to her home town in an attempt to get her life back on track, only to get caught up with her ex-boyfriend again.
STAR TREK BEYOND / STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS
The second and third entries in the rebooted Star Trek movies. They’re both entertaining enough to be worth a watch.
UNTHINKABLE
We’ve literally never heard of this 2010 action thriller before, centred around an FBI agent (Carrie-Anne Moss) attempting to discover the location of set-to-explode nuclear weapons on American soil. Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Sheen co-star, the movie doesn’t have enough reviews on Rotten Tomatoes to develop an average score… so… (shrug emoji)
