Creator of Netflix's House of Cards has released a statement on allegations by actor Anthony Rapp that Kevin Spacey make sexual advances towards him when he was 14 years old.
In a statement on Twitter, creator Beau Willimon wrote "Anthony Rapp's story is deeply troubling. During the time I worked with Kevin Spacey on "House of Cards" I neither witnessed nor was aware of any inappropriate behaviour on set or off."
"That said, I take reports of such behaviour very seriously, and this is no exception. I feel for Mr. Rapp and I support his courage."
Willimon made no statement as to the future of the show, or whether Spacey would continue in his role as Frank Underwood.

Spacey released his own statement this morning, claiming that he did not remember the incident in question — while simultaneously blaming it on drunkenness.
