Eddie Rocket’s has revealed plans to open a new restaurant in Naas, Co Kildare in a venture which will take the number of people employed by the quite-fast food company past the 1000 mark.

The Naas restaurant will see 30 new jobs created in the town.

It will then have 41 outlets around Ireland, with total staff numbers at the company tipping into four figures.

Niall Fortune, chairman of Rocket Restaurants, said, “At a time when every new job counts we are delighted to be playing our part along with our franchisees, Matt and Fionnuala Kelly, in creating 30 jobs with the opening of our new diner in Naas.

“With the opening of Naas, Eddie Rocket’s has created 70 new jobs so far this year.”
