The two students felt shy about buying proper contraception.
Frank Drebbin from The Naked Gun had a strict rule whenever it came to practicing safe sex. The iconic character is a firm believer likes his sex “the way I play basketball, one on one with as little dribbling as possible” but these two Vietnamese students are playing by a whole different set of rules.
Speaking with the Tuoi Tre newspaper, the deputy director of Hanoi Nephrology Hospital, Nguyen The Luong, has said that the two students used a plastic bag as contraception because they felt too shy about buying proper contraception.
Unlike a condom which contains the necessary lubrication, elasticity and security, the duo ended up scratching their genitals and were in need of antibiotics and disinfectants for their injuries.
Sex education is a prevalent issue in Vietnam because there’s still a social stigma attached to buying condoms thus making it difficult for young people to buy contraceptives.
Remember, always practice safe sex.
