Morrissey has spoken for the first time about his battle with cancer revealing he’s been treated four times in the last eighteen months. The singer says doctors have been dealing with cancerous tissues and told Spanish newspaper El Mundo that he isn’t afraid of death.
“They have scraped cancerous tissues four times already, but whatever. If I die, then I die. And if I don’t, then I don’t. Right now I feel good. I am aware that in some of my recent photos I look somewhat unhealthy, but that’s what illness can do. I’m not going to worry about that, I’ll rest when I’m dead.”
Morrissey has had a few health scares in recent times after being diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer, double pneumonia, food poising and a respiratory infection in just under two years.
