It seems that the parents of some schoolchildren in Utah aren’t very fond of their children’s teacher having a life away from the classroom because Mindi Jensen, a teacher at North Sanpete Middle School, has been in the news recently.
Aside from her work in the class, Mindi is a keen bodybuilder and under the alias minscakes, she posts pictures of herself at various fitness competitions where she’s obviously required to wear bikinis.
When some over-zealous parents complained to the school board on the grounds that these snaps were ‘inappropriate’ and ‘pornographic’, Mindi was given three choices. 1) Make her profile private, 2) take her pictures down or 3) be fired. Speaking with local news, Mindi says that she refused to cave into this request because she’s a single mother of four and that fitness was a key factor in helping her deal with depression following her break-up, which has inspired others to do the same.

The teacher stuck to her guns and forced the school board to drop its ultimatum. Mindi’s defiant stance has seen her earn a host of new followers and words of encouragement from around the world, as seen in this post below.
