Alan Loughnane

Scientific proof that everyday should be arm day…

A new study by UCLA has shown that male patients with more arm and leg muscle while having low belly fat were 68% less likely to die from cardiovascular disease within seven years than thin men with less muscle.

According to the study which was brought to our attention by Men’s Health, muscles promote better insulin function which could prevent the development of heart trouble.

Before you run out and start curling your way into oblivion, please take a moment to wash your hands after you use any weights, those dumbbells you’re using are absolutely filthy.

But we do issue a word of warning.

It’s also important that you don’t focus too much on your biceps and neglect every other part of your body because first of all, you’ll look ridiculous, and secondly it’ll make it much harder to tie your shoes.
