If you're looking for something free-to-play online with your friends, these ten have been the most popular.

PlayStation has revealed its end-of-year stats for 2022, including which games were the most downloaded across the world from the PS Store for both the PS4 and the PS5. However, while chances are that you've already paid top-dollar (top... Euro?) for the likes of God Of War: Ragnarok, ELDEN RING and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, we wanted to call attention to the ten most-downloaded free-to-play games. So if you're looking to have huge amounts of fun but not pay huge amounts of money, then these have proven to be the most popular free-to-play games over the last 12 months. In the EU, the top ten are as follows:
  1. Fall Guys
  2. Call Of Duty Warzone/Warzone 2.0
  3. Fortnite
  4. MultiVersus
  5. Overwatch 2
  6. Rocket League
  7. eFootball 2023
  8. Apex Legends
  9. Rumbleverse
  10. Rec Room
Meanwhile, in the US, they are:
  1. Fall Guys
