The free subscription games coming to PlayStation and Xbox in February

If you’ve got the PS Plus and/or Games With Gold subscriptions, here are the new additions coming to your PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4 and Xbox One this month.

Both PlayStation and Xbox have announced the additions to their gaming subscription services for the month of February, with some taking effect from the first week of the month and others spread out across the rest of it.So if you’ve signed up for PS Plus and/or the Games With Gold subscriptions on your consoles, these are the new additions you can put into your library throughout February.

Available to add to your library from Tuesday, 7 February:

Evil Dead: The Game

Official synopsis: “Step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends from the iconic Evil Dead franchise and work together in a game loaded with over-the-top co-op and PvP multiplayer action. Destiny 2: Beyond Light

Official synopsis: “Embark on a new journey through the incredible sci-fi fantasy universe of Destiny 2 with this expansion to the multiplayer action shooter. Guardians will explore Europa, master the new elemental power of Stasis and collect powerful Exotic gear as they battle the Fallen Kell of Darkness, Eramis.”

Mafia: The Definitive Edition

Official synopsis: “Explore a recreated 1930’s cityscape, filled with interwar architecture, cars and culture… and a crime-riddled underbelly in this full remake of the 2002 original. XBOX GAMES WITH GOLD

Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse (available from 1 to 28 February)

Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield (available from 16 February to 15 March)

Official synopsis: “Take on the role of Wally, a mysterious character always in motion as you run, jump, slide, or dash to the soundtrack of Danime-sama. With the average runtime of an action movie, this is a game built for both speed runners and casual gamers alike.”

Hydrophobia (available 1 to 15 February)

Official synopsis: “Use the engineering skills of the heroine, Kate, to fight back against terrorists who have taken control of her floating city. Featuring fast-paced action and breathtaking visuals, unleash the power of the water itself to wipe out your enemy, in this third-person survival adventure game.”

Band Of Bigs (available from 16 to 28 February)

Official synopsis: “Play as your Avatar and fight against, spider, bugs, and even your friends in Spider Hunter Mode. Band of Bugs is a fast playing, accessible game for fans of the tactics-strategy genre, that puts you into the game.”
