Coming later this year, the PlayStation 5 is looking stunning.
Thursday night was a major night in the world of gaming with Sony revealing information about the highly-anticipated PlayStation 5.
Images of the console were released for the first time, as well as a whole host of games that will be available on the console.
Some of the PS5 games had already been announced, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Fortnite and Destiny 2.
Thursday night’s live streamed event showcased new games that will be available on the console, including Spider-Man: Miles Morales and a new Ratchet & Clank title called Rift Apart.
The launch event also showed trailers for Gran Turismo 7, Oddworld Soulstorm, Hitman 3, Resident Evil Village, Horizon: Forbidden West, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and NBA 2K21.
It’s not currently clear whether some of the games will be exclusively available for PS5, or whether they’ll be available on other consoles.
The PlayStation 5 is set to go on sale later this year, seven years after the PS4, though no official release date has been announced as of yet.
