Tributes have been pouring in for the After We Fell star.

British-American actor Chance Perdomo has passed away at the age of 27, following a motorcycle accident in upstate New York.

Perdomo’s publicist announced his death yesterday and a statement released by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, who had hired the young actor to star in Prime Video’s Gen V, remembered the actor as “charming” and an “enthusiastic force of nature”.

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this,” they said.

“For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.

“Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”

Perdomo was born in Los Angeles but was raised in Southampton in the UK.

The rising star was nominated for Best Actor at the 2019 Baftas for his role in the BBC Three drama Killed By My Debt.

Many will know him from playing the character of Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina – a spin-off of the 90’s US sitcom.

Authorities in the US concluded that there was nobody else involved in the crash, and no further details have been released at this time.
