Seeing Cadbury Creme Eggs hit the shelves once again is always one of the highlights of the confectionary year.
Absence clearly makes the heart grow fonder when it comes to such things. Well pine no more dear friends, the object of your longing has returned!
To celebrate its return, we’ve teamed up with the good folks at Cadbury to organise a game that will win you some Creme Eggs. You’ll also have the chance to scoop €1,000 while you’re at it.
There are gonna be three egg hunts in the following locations:
Cork – Wednesday 14 February
Kilkenny – Wednesday 21 February
Galway – Wednesday 28 February

Here’s how it works. The starting point in Cork is Berwick Fountain on Grande Parade in Cork City Centre. Our JOE and Her team will be waiting here from 12pm on Wednesday, 14 February. Head down to them and collect your Creme Egg to begin the hunt.
We’re going to release a list of geographical coordinates on JOE at 12.45pm. Once the coordinates have been released, you’ll have a few hours to get to as many locations as possible. When you get to each location, simply take a selfie at each spot and post it on Twitter along with the hashtag #CremeEggHuntingSeason. The first person who manages to get selfies at all 15 locations and return to Berwick Fountain will win. Remember that you’ll need proof of all 15 selfies on a single Twitter account to win the prize.
Make sure to keep an eye on our social channels for any hints and tips. It also pays to take the best selfies possible as the team who are most creative with their images and tweets on the hunt will also win a prize. Good luck!
For you Cork heads, don’t forget to pop into the Cadbury Creme Egg Hunting Lodge in Cork City this Sunday, 11 February from 12pm to 6pm. There’ll be a host of delicious treats including Creme Egg Brownies, s’mores and hot chocolate. Tickets cost €5, with 100% of proceeds being donated to the national mental health charity, Aware. To qualify for the main prize, you’ll need to be over 18 and to post selfies from the 15 listed locations during the time allotted to the hunt, using the hashtag #CremeEggHuntingSeason on Twitter. The first user to return to the finish line with proof of all the locations they visited and the tweeted selfies will win. Special prizes for the runner-up and the best selfie.
