POLL: You decide who makes it to the final of the Le Crunch Apple of My Eye Song Contest

JOE

Brought to you by Le Crunch Apples from France.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for.

Musicians and singers from across the land have sent in their best cover songs and we’ve combed through the list to pick out the best entries. Now it’s time for you to choose who will make it to the final of the Le Crunch Apple of My Eye Song Contest.

We need you to vote for your favourite song from a shortlist of 10, with the three acts with the most votes going through to perform in the live final in Whelans on 23 March. The other two finalists will be selected by the judges.

The winner will walk away with €1500 but each of the four runner-ups will also get €250.

Simply choose your favourite track from the entries below. The voting poll will close at 11:59pm on March 10th, so get voting!

“Three little birds/Star Star” by Mark Campbell.

“September Song” by Ryan Cahill.

“Feeling Good” by Katie Cassidy.

“Let Me Love You” by Scoops

“Chocolate” by FionnRua.

“Lighthouse/Wicked Games” by In The Willows.

“Fill Me In” by  Crossing Paths (Oisin McCaffrey and Clodagh Murray)

“Toxic” by Slow Seas.

“Age” by Aideen Kavanagh.

“If I ain’t got you” by Mimi Lane and Skelly.

So those are your options and I think you’ll agree that this year’s entrants are a talented bunch. The three acts with the highest votes will progress to the final and battle it out for the grand prize so it’s a big responsibility.

To quote Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, you must choose but choose wisely! Your vote could end up changing someone’s life. Stay tuned to JOE to see who makes it to the final.
