Be there as some of Ireland’s most recognisable faces share childhood stories, with tales ranging from innocent to unsettling.

A unique show will take in place in Dublin’s Smock Alley Theatre for three night’s next year, January 16-18. The show is made up of memories of childhood from some very well-known faces. Chefs, broadcasters, politicians, writers, actors and musicians all submitted a short piece on their childhood.

The reminisces cover the full gamut of childhood experience, so expect to hear stories of great wonder and some trauma. Hosted by Alan Shortt, the pieces will be brought to life on the Smock Alley stage and you can expect a few surprises too.

Here’s one of the show’s writers, Nick Munier, talking about the show.

The aim of the show is to raise much-needed funds for Barnardos. Tickets cost €30, with all proceeds going to the children’s charity.

For more information, just visit undermybed.ie or find us on Facebook & Twitter! Tickets can also be purchased here

We have two tickets to the opening night to give away too. Just answer this question to be in with a shot.
