Ice-cream and beer enthusiasts everywhere, we have found the ultimate indulgence.
In a combination we had never thought of before, Frozen Pints has decided to blend two of many people’s passions in wonderful style. The company has gone with seven different flavours with the strongest tub has a alcohol level of 3.2 per cent.
Ari Fleischer, founder of Frozen Pints from New York, has revealed how the quirky concept actually started by accident and can thank one messy friend.
“We were having a party and a friend brought over an ice cream maker to make homemade ice cream,” he told The Express. “But another friend spilled a beer nearby, and I watched it happen and thought – ‘this is a great idea!’
He also added that you would have to consume a whole lot of ice-cream before you’d start feeling tipsy.
“One pint of Frozen Pints ice cream is equal to one pint of beer – so you would have to eat a lot of ice cream to get drunk.”
Of course novel ice-cream is nothing new and we recently discovered burger flavoured ice-cream, so who knows what is next?
