WATCH: This baggage handler’s approach might put you off packing valuable items in your luggage

You might want to grab a 'fragile' tag the next time you're at the airport.

Zero fu**s were given by this baggage handler over the weekend.

Most air travellers tend not to think too much about what happens to their luggage once they drop it off in the airport as long as it arrives on time and intact on the other side.

Footage recorded at Edinburgh Airport at the weekend, however, might make you think twice about packing something valuable in your suitcase, or at least increase your desire for a ‘fragile’ tag the next time you’re at the airport.

In fairness to the baggage handlers in the clips below, recorded by Lewis Marasco following his return to Edinburgh from Rome on Friday, it was only one worker who seemed to take a rather laissez-faire approach to placing the luggage onto the conveyor belt.

A few bags, in particular, seemed to have a rough enough landing, although all of them, thankfully, managed to avoid falling off.

“Having had things broken myself I now see why – credit to the 3 other guys taking care,” Lewis tweeted.

The footage, it should be pointed out, is reflective of one man’s approach on a particular day rather than how it’s done in general, but it might not make for the most comforting sight if you’re heading off on your holidays anytime soon.
