So, it seems as though Taylor Swift has just split from actor Tom Hiddleston...
In case you didn't know about that, or simply don't care, this is the first high-profile break-up that Swift has gone through in 2016. The Shake It Off singer famously broke up with DJ Calvin Harris just weeks before embarking on her ill-fated tryst with Hiddleston.
Harris spoke to GQ about the break-up, which was both public and messy.
"It's very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly. The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicised than the relationship itself."
"When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus. She respected my feelings in that sense. I'm not good at being a celebrity. But when it ended, all hell broke loose."
Earlier in the year, Harris had slammed Swift's publicity team for trying to make it seem as though Harris had withheld a writing credit for Swift on This Is What You Came For.
Harris now regrets hitting out at his ex, saying "Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realise that none of that matters. I'm a positive guy."
The full interview can be read in the October 2016 edition of GQ.

This little island […]
